Highpoint Health – Riverview with Ascension Saint Thomas is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support both our new Outpatient Urology Clinic (20 hours/week) and our Family Medicine Clinic (20 hours/week) in Carthage, TN. This position offers the rare opportunity to build subspecialty skills in urology while maintaining a strong foundation in family medicine—all within a collaborative, well-supported environment.
Position Overview
This unique hybrid role allows you to divide your time between two complementary settings:

20 hours/week in the Urology Clinic, working alongside a VirtuCare board-certified urologist who provides direct case support and clinical guidance.

20 hours/week in the Family Medicine Clinic, delivering comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages.
What You’ll Do

Provide evaluation and management of patients in both urology and family medicine settings.

Diagnose and manage common urologic conditions such as BPH, kidney stones, UTIs, pelvic health concerns, incontinence, and erectile dysfunction.

Coordinate with surgical teams for pre- and post-operative patient care.

Offer preventive and acute primary care services, including wellness exams and chronic disease management.

Collaborate closely with the supervising physician, urology specialist, and broader care team to ensure high-quality, coordinated patient care.

Who We’re Looking For

Licensed Nurse Practitioner (FNP, AGNP, or ACNP) or Physician Assistant with at least one year of clinical experience.

Interest in expanding skills into urology; prior urology experience is a plus but not required.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
