Position Overview

A growing and highly regarded Urology practice in Anchorage, Alaska, is seeking a motivated Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join their team.

This is a standout opportunity for a provider seeking exceptional work-life balance. The practice offers a flexible environment where you will work alongside a robust team of Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). The team is well-versed in mentorship and is actively interviewing experienced providers as well as motivated new graduates looking to launch their careers.

Why Choose This Role?

  • Unbeatable Schedule: Enjoy a Monday through Friday schedule with half-days every Friday, giving you a jump start on your weekend.

  • Zero Burnout: There are No Nights, No Weekends, and No Call requirements.

  • Customizable Scope: This is primarily a clinic-based role, but if you have an interest in surgery, there is an option to spend approximately one day per week first-assisting in the OR.

  • Mentorship: Join a group with a proven track record of training and developing new graduates into top-tier Urology providers.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient clinical care for urology patients (assessment, diagnosis, and treatment plans).

  • Collaborate with attending Urologists and other APPs to ensure continuity of care.

  • Perform in-office clinical procedures as required.

  • Optional: First-assist in the Operating Room (OR) for urological procedures (approx. 1 day/week).

Qualifications

  • Licensure: Current Alaska Physician Assistant License (or eligibility to obtain).

  • Education: Graduate of an ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant program.

  • Experience: Previous experience in Urology is a plus, but New Graduates with relevant clinical rotations and a strong desire to learn are encouraged to apply.

  • Attitude: Must be highly motivated, team-oriented, and patient-focused.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: Highly competitive base salary.

  • Incentives: Lucrative bonus structure.

  • Health: Comprehensive health insurance package.

  • Retirement: 401(k) plan.

  • Development: CME allowance provided.

  • Time Off: PTO and paid holidays.
