NP/PA Neurology opening near Norfolk, VA

Group has an employment position available for an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. We prefer applicants with prior experience in Neurology as a licensed provider, or who completed a clinical rotation in Neurology, and will consider new graduates. This is an excellent employment opportunity to become a part of the physician-led Group, a top-tier, innovative, high performing multispecialty group with over 1,500 providers located throughout Virginia and northeastern North Carolina.
Aspects of this position include:
- Office-Based position, but does include limited inpatient rounding; one half-day Saturday or Sunday per month
- See patient follows-ups; no new patients
- Monday-Friday; first patient seen at 7:45am; last patient starts at 3:45pm
- Practice consists of 3 Neurologists, and 2 APPs, one of which is inpatient only

Requirements for this position include Virginia-licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, and a current, unrestricted DEA license. Candidates must have the ability to provide quality, comprehensive, continuity of medical care in a compassionate manner with minimum supervision.
