Job Description

Locum Urology APP Needed for 3 month maternity leave coverage in Findlay, OH, starting March 2024.

Dates of coverage needed: 3/01/24 - 5/31/24

Expenses Covered: Medical Malpractice Insurance (A-rated carrier w/ tail coverage); mileage reimbursement (if local); lodging, rental car, flights (if not local).
  • Open to either a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Open to providers needing to obtain Ohio license.
Practice Schedule:
  • Monday – Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
  • Friday: 8:00am – 12:00pm
  • There may be some flexibility with these hours but looking for 36 patient contact hours.
  • No call coverage
Position Details:
  • Average number of patients per day: 15-20
  • Peds: No
  • Types of Cases: Kidney Stones, Elevated PSA, Post op patients, Cath changes (nurses do change), Overactive bladder, BPH.
  • Would prefer one APP for the three-month assignment. Coverage for an open position and APP maternity leave
  • Support staff is available: Shared Nurse and MA
  • There would be two physicians and two other APPs working in the practice
  • Would prefer that the provider have Urology experience
  • If the provider would need to fly in, client will reimburse for a flight at the beginning of the assignment and at the end.

Job Responsibilities

Types of Cases: Kidney Stones, Elevated PSA, Post op patients, Cath changes (nurses do change), Overactive bladder, BPH.

Qualifications

Board Certified NP or PA
OH license (or willing to obtain)

Working Hours

Monday – Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
Friday: 8:00am – 12:00pm
There may be some flexibility with these hours but looking for 36 patient contact hours.
No call coverage

Skills

Preferable that the provider has Urology experience.
