Our client, a not-for-profit teaching hospital serving an ethnically diverse residential neighborhood of New York City, is hiring a Physician Assistant.
This is a non surgical role in Neurology.

Responsibilities

  • Performs technical patient care, as established by Department
  • Communicating with other medical professionals to ensure that all aspects of treatment are followed
  • Performing diagnostic tests such as MRI scans, CT scans, EEGs, and nerve conduction studies
  • Providing patients with information about their diagnosis and treatment options
  • Performing neurological examinations to assess a patient’s mental status and neurologic function
  • Ordering or interpreting diagnostic tests such as MRIs or EEGs
  • Prescribing medications and monitoring patients’ responses to treatment
  • Union: 1199
  • M – F Shift: 8:00am – 4:00pm
Requirements:
  • PA-C
  • Physician Assistant License
