Physician Assistant (PA) – Urgent Care
Near Denver, CO

Overview:
Our well-established urgent care clinic near Denver is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) whose advanced clinical skills and sound judgment will make an immediate impact on patients and families. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform advanced clinical assessments, including detailed histories and focused physical examinations, for patients with acute and urgent conditions
  • Formulate differential diagnoses and establish working diagnoses using evidence-based clinical reasoning
  • Order, interpret, and act on diagnostic tests such as labs, radiographic imaging, and point-of-care tests
  • Provide wound care and perform minor procedures, including suturing, incision and drainage, splinting, and other urgent care interventions
  • Prescribe, initiate, and adjust medications in accordance with current guidelines and regulatory requirements
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans, including follow-up care and referrals when appropriate
  • Deliver clear, empathetic patient and family education on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and self-care instructions
  • Document patient encounters accurately in the EHR and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care

Qualifications:

  • Active, current Physician Assistant (PA) licensure in Colorado
  • Familiarity with occupational health visits, sports injuries, and work-related assessments
  • Comfortable managing pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients in an urgent care setting
  • Spanish or other second-language proficiency preferred to support diverse patient populations
