Required Skills:
- Valid Physician Assistant license in Virginia
- Proven experience in Urgent Care and Occupational Health
- Excellent clinical assessment and procedural skills (episodic care, injury treatment)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication and patient management skills
- Familiarity with Anthem EMR documentation system
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with Occupational Health protocols
- Ability to handle diverse patient age groups simultaneously
- Bilingual capabilities to serve a broader patient demographic
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master's degree or higher in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Urgent Care or similar environments
- Prior experience working with Anthem EMR system is advantageous
Other Requirements:
- Supervision provided by a licensed physician via phone during shifts
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed
- Mileage reimbursement for local providers at IRS Standard Rate, billed separately
- Ability to start from March 19, 2026, and work ongoing as needed
