Job description
We are seeking a Locum Physician Assistant for their Lynchburg clinic. This role involves high-autonomy practice within an Urgent Care setting that also provides Occupational Health services. A supervising physician is available by phone throughout the assignment.
-Schedule: 12-hour shifts (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM).
-Location: Lynchburg, VA.
-Patient Volume: Focus on episodic care and injury treatment.
-Charting: Anthem EMR.
- Travel: Mileage reimbursement at the IRS Standard Rate (for local providers only).
Job Responsibilities
-Manage occupational health cases and workplace injury treatments.
-Work autonomously while coordinating with offsite supervising physicians.
-Ensure timely and accurate documentation in the Anthem system.
Qualifications
-Licensure: Active Virginia (VA) Medical License required.
-Certifications: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) required.
-Experience: Proven experience in Urgent Care and Occupational Health settings.
-Residence: Provider must be local to the Lynchburg area.

-Availability: Ongoing as needed
