Walk-In Care Physician Assistant Opportunity in Charming Wisconsin Town

Marshfield Medical Center – Weston is seeking a Walk-In Care Physician Assistant to join our team in Weston, Wisconsin. The PA is a skilled member of the health team who provides medical and educational services to patients in collaboration with a licensed physician. This individual works within a cooperative department, utilizing team effort with health care providers, co-workers, and the public to provide positive patient interaction.

This is a new position added to our Weston Center Walk-in as the demand for this service continues to increase.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.

Required Education: Master’s degree nurse practitioner or Physician Assistant

EXPERIENCE

Preferred/Optional: Two years nursing experience

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES

The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.

Minimum Required

• Current State of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or Nurse Compact License.
• Nurse Practitioner Certification awarded by a national certifying body.
• Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber Certification awarded by the State of Wisconsin.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of employment.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification awarded by the American Heart Association.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification awarded by the American Heart Association.

Preferred/Optional: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) at time of hire.
