Position Type: Full-Time and Part-Time
Practice Setting: Urgent Care
Locations: Multiple Southern California locations (priority for Ventura County, Westlake Village, South Bay, West Hollywood/Santa Monica/Torrance, Inland Empire, Downtown Los Angeles). Flex between nearby sites (within ~20 miles) may be required.

Position Overview

Seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to join a rapidly growing urgent care organization. This is an ongoing, high-volume need with opportunities across multiple locations. Both full-time and part-time candidates are encouraged to apply, with a strong need for part-time weekend coverage.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including history, physical exams, and triage

  • Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and injuries in an urgent care setting

  • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests

  • Develop and implement treatment plans; prescribe medications and therapies within scope

  • Coordinate care with physicians and clinical staff

  • Manage patient flow and prioritize throughput and patient satisfaction

  • Perform procedures and respond to emergency situations, including running codes

  • Document care accurately in the EMR (Experity)

  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up care

  • Adhere to safety, infection control, and compliance standards

Required Qualifications

  • Active California NP or PA license

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine

  • At least 1 year of solo provider experience

  • PA: NCCPA certification

  • NP: AANPCB or ANCC certification

  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications

  • DEA license with California address

  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment

Schedule

  • Full-Time: 3 shifts/week (30+ hours), must work at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday)

  • Part-Time: 1–2 shifts/week; must work Friday, Saturday, or Sunday

  • Shifts are primarily 12 hours (daytime); some weekend shifts may be 6 hours

  • Minimum commitment: 4 shifts per month
