TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Physician Assistant to provide locum tenens coverage at an urgent care clinic in Nashville, NC. This role offers a consistent schedule, supportive clinical environment, and the opportunity to care for patients in a rural community setting.

Schedule:
Required: Mondays
Additional: Wednesdays (preferred)
Hours: 8:00 AM to close (last patient at 6:30 PM)
Patient Volume:
Mondays: ~25 patients/day (higher during respiratory season)
Tuesdays/Wednesdays: ~20 patients/day
Age Range: All ages
Support Staff: MAs, RNs, Care Coordinators
Work Style: Independent practice with supervising physician available
EMR: eClinicalWorks
Requirements
Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with active NC license
Board Certification required
BLS required
Prior enrollment with Medicare and Medicaid
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced urgent care environment
Must be able to work Mondays consistently
Compensation & Logistics
Mileage reimbursement available (minimums apply)
No hotel reimbursement
No call responsibilities
Dress Code: Scrubs or business casual with lab coat required
Credentialing
STAT credentialing process
Provider will be credentialed with major payors
Interview Process
Video interview required before confirmation
