Schedule: 5 pm – 1 am Mon-Sun
Position Overview
We are seeking a Locum Physician Assistant to join our urgent care team in Jonesboro, GA. This role is ideal for a clinician who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Manage a wide range of acute conditions
- Provide procedural care including:
- Laceration repair
- Incision and drainage
- Foreign body removal
Qualifications
- Active PA license in Georgia (required)
- Proficiency in urgent care procedures and acute condition management
- Strong clinical judgment and clear communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced setting
- Prior experience in urgent care or hospital-based practice strongly preferred
