TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide locum coverage at a community urgent care clinic in northeastern North Carolina. This opportunity offers a rotating schedule in a busy outpatient environment serving patients of all ages.
Position Details
Job Type: Locum Tenens

Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours total) Shift Hours:
Sunday: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
Saturday: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM Orientation: Required the day before first shift
Dates of Coverage
January–March 2025: Multiple dates available across each month
Average Patient Volume: 35–40 patients per day
Age Range: All ages
Work Style: Independent
Telehealth: None
Support Staff: Present on site
Procedures: Foreign body removal, suturing, I&Ds, casting/DME fitting
Requirements
Active North Carolina medical license
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Prior urgent care or emergency medicine experience preferred

Working Hours
February: 2, 3, 6, 9,10,13,16,17,19,23, 26,27
March: 2, 3, 5, 9,10,13,16,17,19,23,26,27,30,31
• Rotating Schedule: 36 hours per week, consisting of three 12-hour shifts. The provider will not be included in the regular weekend rotation but may occasionally be asked to work weekends based on clinical needs.
• Shift Hours: Sunday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Saturday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
