Job description We are seeking an experienced Urgent Care Physician Assistant for a 10-day locum tenens assignment in Washington. This position begins on Dec 4, 2025, and features 10-hour day shifts with a variable patient load. The locum will serve as the sole provider, treating all ages and performing urgent care procedures in a dynamic clinical setting.

  • Schedule: 10am - 6pm; Dec 4, 5, 6 and Dec 16 - 22

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Serve as the only provider on site during each shift
  • Manage a patient load averaging 20 per day, with variability ranging from under 10 to over 30 patients daily
  • Deliver care for patients of all ages in an urgent care setting
  • Perform procedures such as suturing and splinting
  • Maintain accurate patient records using Cerner EMR
  • Ensure high standards of patient safety and compliance with clinic protocols

Additional Information
  • Active Washington PA license required
  • Must have recent or current experience as an urgent care PA
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Must be comfortable working independently
  • Clean background required
  • Experience with high-volume urgent care (20+ patients/day) strongly preferred
  • Must be comfortable with all age groups
