Responsibilities and Duties
- Independently assess and manage urgent care cases in a high-volume setting
- Collaborate with a medical assistant and front desk personnel to provide streamlined patient care
- Perform and document comprehensive patient evaluations and treatments
- Manage acute illnesses and minor injuries for a diverse patient population
- Prescribe medications and manage refills in accordance with DEA regulations
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records
- Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards
Additional Information
- Must hold an active North Carolina license
- Must possess Basic Life Support (BLS) and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certifications
- Ability to work autonomously is essential; not accepting new graduates
- DOT certification is a plus
