This full-time role features 12-hour weekday shifts (8am-8pm) and shorter weekend shifts (8am-4pm), with a rotating 36/40 schedule and every other weekend required. Responsibilities and Duties
- Independently assess, diagnose, and treat urgent care patients in a high-volume setting
- Manage a daily patient load of 40+ individuals across a broad range of acute presentations
- Collaborate with medical assistants and front desk staff within a streamlined business model
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
- Adhere to clinic protocols and best practices for urgent care delivery
Additional Information
- Must be licensed as a Physician Assistant in North Carolina
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certifications required
- DOT certification is a plus
- Must be able to work autonomously; not accepting new graduates
