Pay: $100.00 per hour
Assignment Length:
- Initial 13-week contract

Details:
- Stand alone Urgent Care
- Ages 6 months to geriatric
- Procedures including I&D, laceration repair, ear irrigation and other minor procedures
- Up to 55 PPD depending on location
- EMR: EPIC
- Credentialing: 15 days
Requirements:
- Active North Carolina license
- Board certification
- AHA BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications
- Minimum 1-year Urgent Care experience
Travel Benefits:

Job Responsibilities
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Order and interpret diagnostic tests
Prescribe medications and manage chronic conditions
Provide patient education and counseling on healthy lifestyle choices
Perform procedures as permitted by state regulations and NP specialty
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care
Document patient care accurately and thoroughly
Qualifications
Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) degree from an accredited program
Licenses & Certifications:
Active and unencumbered physician assistant (PA) license in North Carolina
National certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
Experience:
While specific requirements may vary, most locum PA positions prefer candidates with at least one year of experience in a clinical setting relevant to their specialty
Skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients
Proficiency in performing physical examinations and procedures relevant to their specialty
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to diagnose and manage complex medical conditions
Time management skills to efficiently manage a patient workload
Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a healthcare team
