Job description
We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant (PA) to provide ongoing full-time locum coverage at a large group of clinics across Virginia. The ideal candidate will have experience in both urgent care and occupational health, be local to VA, and available to work a minimum of 36 hours/week.
📅 Assignment Details

Start: ASAP – ongoing as needed

Schedule: Minimum 3 x 12-hour shifts/week, rotating weekends

Setting: UC + Occupational Health clinic

EMR: Anthem

Supervision: Works autonomously with MD backup by phone

Patient Volume: Episodic visits, injury care, all age groups
💰 Compensation

$80 - $90/hour

Mileage reimbursement for local candidates only

Malpractice provided
✅ Requirements

Board Certified (NCCPA)

Active Virginia license

BLS certification
-
DEA preferred but not required

Must be local (no flights, no lodging provided)

Able to commit to minimum 36 hours/week with rotating weekends
