Job description
Northwest Urgent Care, a part of Northwest Texas Healthcare System, is actively recruiting APPs for a FT or PT position. Join our collegial team in our recently-opened, modern urgent care facility in southwest Amarillo.
Position highlights:
- Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Active, clear Texas license
- Employed position
- Prior experience in urgent care or walk-in setting preferred
- Ability to be the sole provider onsite
- Ability to manage high patient volumes associated with UC setting
- Proficiency in common UC procedures including suturing, splinting, I&D, and FBR preferred
- Experience reading EKGs and X-rays preferred
- Spanish-speaking is a plus
