Our client in Austin, TX has a need for an experienced Physician Assistant to assist in treating patients in their facility.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a high-volume Urgent Care or Emergency Department setting.

120+ locations and growing, along with vast virtual coverage
2,000+ caring clinicians and support staff serving their communities
Backed by investors such as CVS Health Ventures and Blackstone Horizon

There are two locations to choose from:
1. Westbank Market 2. Arboretum Market

Job Responsibilities

Conduct patient-centric examinations and craft evidence-based workups and treatment plans
Interpret x-rays, lab results, and EKGs
Triage and manage patient flow efficiently to minimize wait times
Review and manage daily tasks, including patient callbacks regarding lab results
Provide oversight and lead day-to-day operations for your team of medical assistants and support staff
Consult supervising physician based on the scope of practice and patient needs

Qualifications

Active TX license - Required
Active DEA - Required
Current BLS through American Heart Association
Must have experience in a urgent care emergency department setting.
Must be comfortable treating patients of all age groups.
Maintain a controlled substance license along with an unrestricted Washington DEA license.
Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times.

Working Hours

Hours of Operations:
9am-7pm, daily
