Barton Associates has a locum tenens position in Texas at an urgent care facility for a Physician Assistant. The assignment, starting as soon as possible, involves 12-hour shifts Monday to Saturday from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm, and Sundays from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm. The schedule covers March and April dates. Cases include typical primary care and urgent care cases, workers comp cases, minor to moderate trauma, chronic pain, basic sick visits, cold, cough, flu, minor injuries/burns, sprains, ear infections, and procedures such as suturing, IV, and incision drainage. The provider will be the sole on-site provider with support from an off-site supervisor. The assignment is for 60 days with the potential for extension. The Dr. Chrono EMR system is utilized.
