NP/PA Urgent Care opening in CT Located in Orange CT Full Time - Permanent Some Urgent Care experience outside of training required Opportunities available in Orange, Norfolk, Norwalk and Southbury We are seeking experienced Physicians to deliver the highest quality care to patients suffering from acute, non-threatening medical conditions. With 15 centers across Connecticut and plans for rapid expansion across Westchester County, NY and metro-Boston, MA, we provide the opportunity for physicians to deliver patient-focused, quality care in a positive work environment offering ample opportunities for clinical education and professional growth. Responsibilities: Conduct thorough physical assessments including history taking, physical examination, and developing a plan of care. Order and interpret laboratory and radiologic tests as needed. Prescribe medications in accordance with state and federal guidelines. Consult and refer to specialists as necessary. Perform a variety of procedures including venipuncture, wound management, and suturing. Ensure accurate documentation, coding, and billing of patient visits. Key Knowledge Areas: Proficient in managing conditions such as chest pain, allergic reactions, fractures, infections, and more. Skilled in procedural tasks such as venipuncture, administering medications, and emergency procedures. Qualifications: State Medical License. Controlled Substance Registration and Federal DEA Registration. Current certification by a national organization as an Advanced Practitioner. PALS and ACLS Certification. NRCME Certification preferred. Compensation: $70-85+ hourly, based on experience.
