ECU Health Physicians and ECU Health Immediate Care-Edenton are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (FNP or ACNP certified) or Physician Assistant to work shifts on a PRN basis.

Opportunity Highlights

  • PRN position
  • Outpatient immediate care setting
  • Saturday only shifts: 9am – 3pm (potential to expand to other days of the week)
  • Proficiency required for minor procedures including: Suturing, joint injections, splinting/mobilizing/sprains, as well as comfortable treating infants to adults
  • Clinical responsibilities will include being a sole provider in an immediate care setting once trained
  • Opportunity to pick up additional shifts at Immediate Care-Ahoskie (1 hour from Immediate Care-Edenton)
  • System-wide integrated EMR - EPIC
  • Applicants will be required to have BLS certification from The American Heart Association
  • Inpatient and ED support by ECU Health Chowan Hospital

ECU HEALTH CHOWAN HOSPITAL

ECU Health Chowan Hospital in Edenton is a 25-bed critical access hospital which provides programs and services to 110,000 people in 6 counties. It offers medical and surgical services, including intensive care, a specialty care clinic and a dedicated outpatient surgery area with endoscopy capabilities. A 7-bed emergency department serves approximately 16,000 patients per year.
