We are seeking a skilled Physician Assistant (PA) โ€“ Vascular to join a growing vascular surgery and vascular medicine service line. This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with vascular surgeons and a dedicated clinical team, providing high-quality care to patients with arterial and venous disease across outpatient and procedural settings.

๐Ÿฉบ Key Responsibilities

  • Perform patient histories, physical exams, and vascular assessments

  • Evaluate and manage patients with vascular conditions (PAD, venous insufficiency, DVT, carotid disease, aneurysms, chronic wounds)

  • Order and interpret diagnostic studies (vascular ultrasound, ABI/PVR, CTA/MRA, labs)

  • Assist with pre- and post-operative care for vascular procedures

  • Conduct hospital rounds and inpatient consults as needed

  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with vascular surgeons

  • Prescribe medications and adjust therapies per clinical protocols

  • Provide patient education regarding disease, procedures, and post-treatment care

  • Document all encounters accurately in EMR

  • Coordinate care with referring providers, imaging, wound care, and ancillary services

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives

โœ… Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited PA program

  • Active PA license in New York

  • NCCPA certified

  • Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

โญ Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in vascular surgery, vascular medicine, cardiology, or general surgery

  • Familiarity with outpatient vascular clinics and procedural settings

  • Experience with EPIC or similar EMR systems

  • BLS/ACLS certified
