Required Procedures:
Support Staff: Surgeon present during assignment
Days Per Month: Full-time availability required
On-Call/Weekends: 1–2 days/week if any, only overnight emergency or call (from home)
We are seeking a Locum Tenens PA in New York.
Locum Tenens PA – Surgery (Vascular)
Position Type: Locum Tenens
Specialty: PA – Surgery (Vascular)
Location: Syracuse, NY
Rate: Please submit your best rate
Shift: 12-hour shifts with call
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: 3 months minimum
Position Details:
Patient Population: Adult/geriatric
Setting: Inpatient only
Responsibilities:
- Suture removal
- Diagnose and treat illnesses
- Order and interpret tests
- Assist in surgery
- Write prescriptions
- Coordination of care and rounding
- Pre-op physical exams
Required Procedures:
- Intraoperative first assisting
- Removal of dialysis catheters
Support Staff: Surgeon present during assignment
Days Per Month: Full-time availability required
On-Call/Weekends: 1–2 days/week if any, only overnight emergency or call (from home)
Submission Requirements:
- NCCPA; PA must have RNFA
- Active NY State License at time of submission
- BLS, ACLS
- Vascular/cardiac surgery experience required; no new grads
- Self-query NPDB within the month of submission
- Full-time availability only
