Advanced Practice Provider – Vascular Surgery Location: Hartford, CT Setting: Inpatient – Vascular Surgery Schedule: Full-time, rotating schedule (no call); premium differentials offered Overview: An excellent opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a dynamic vascular surgery team providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a hospital setting. The role focuses on both clinical and procedural support for patients requiring vascular surgical services. Position Highlights: • Manage patients collaboratively with vascular surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care. • Provide pre- and post-operative management, daily rounding, and assessment of new consultations throughout the hospital. • Participate in discharges, crisis intervention, and assist with operative cases as needed. • Work in a fast-paced inpatient environment with opportunities to develop procedural and surgical skills. • Supportive team culture focused on collaboration, learning, and clinical excellence. Role: • Open to Physician Assistants (PA) and Acute Care Nurse Practitioners (ACNP). • Inpatient-based vascular surgery position with multidisciplinary collaboration. • No on-call responsibilities. Qualifications: • Unrestricted (or eligible) State of Connecticut medical license. • Certification or board eligibility as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner. • New graduates are welcome to apply. • Preferred: Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an NP or PA in a vascular or surgical specialty setting.
