We are seeking a Locum Cardiothoracic Surgery NP or PA for ongoing coverage in Langhorne, PA.
This is a LOCAL position only. Active PA license required — no exceptions.
Schedule: Varied weekday coverage with nights, weekends, and on-call. Weekend responsibilities include rounding Saturday and Sunday with subsequent on-call coverage.
Clinical Scope:
- Support the heart team in surgery
- Pre-op exams, rounding, chest tube insertions, endoscopic retrieval
- Assist in surgery, order and interpret tests, prescriptions, care coordination
- 100% inpatient, adult population
- Epic EMR
Requirements:
- Board Certified NP or PA
- Active Pennsylvania license (must already hold — will not accept pending)
- Minimum 3 years cardiothoracic surgery experience
- No new grads
- ACLS and BLS
- Clean background, no exceptions
- Local candidates only
