Shift Details
-- Monday-Friday day shift (7am-7pm) plus night call (7pm-7am)
-- Weekend coverage: 7am-7am, 24-hour shifts
-- Weekend coverage primarily with vacation coverage needs
Requirements
-- Board Certification
-- Kentucky License
-- Availability stated at time of name clear
-- ACLS, BLS
-- DEA
Required Procedures / Skills
-- First assisting in CABG, AVR, MVR procedures
-- First assisting in thoracotomy/lung resection cases
-- Surgical cardiothoracic procedures
-- Vein harvest
-- Chest tube placement
Assignment Details
-- Profession: NP or PA
-- Setting: Inpatient/OR
-- PRN coverage
-- OR duties as well as telemetry and ICU duties
-- Call duties include 1-2 call days per week and one weekend per month
-- Weekend duties include inpatient rounds, procedures, and surgery duties
-- EMR: Epic
-- Support for surgeons
-- Patient census: Volume is fairly low at the moment
-- 1-2 surgeries daily
