We are currently seeking a Physician Assistant-Thoracic Surgery to join our amazing team.

Details of the Opportunity:

• Start date: ASAP
• Salary: $122-$128/hr, DOE
• Schedule: Full Time

Details:

• Practice Setting: hospital
• EMR/Charting Software: Epic
• Avg. Daily Census: 15-25
• Patient Age Group: adults/geriatric

• Thoracic Surgery – Chest tube/blake drain/pigtail management experience/ ABG, NGT, G and J feeding tubes would be helpful. Seeing about 15-25 patients per shift. 25 patients is usually max. The PA locum is solo. There is a fellow that works the nights that can help when a night is busy to offload some of those patients. The Fellow is there as a resource as he is covering the ER and doing rounds and consults. The PA locum will mostly be seeing patients on the floor coming from the Step down OR (post op) or ICU. ACLS is required
