Facility in need of a Cardiothoracic Surgery PA to start as soon as credentialed. Please see details below, email if interested with an updated CV and any additional questions.
Start Date: As soon as credentialed
End date: 6-12 month contract
Practice Setting: Inpatient only at both
Schedule: 8-hour days (Monday-Friday), potential call and 24-hour shifts
Call Schedule: TBD
Call Ratio: TBD
EMR: EPIC
Trauma Level: Level 1
Will provider be working autonomously: Yes
Supervising physician present during assignment: No
Patient Age Demographic: Adolescent/Adult/Geriatric

Job Responsibilities
Placement of Central Venous and Dialysis Catheters
Placement of Arterial Lines and Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps
Endoscopic Retrieval
**NO BALLOON PUMPS**
Pre-Op Physical Exams
Suture Removal
Diagnose Illnesses
Treat Illnesses
Order Tests
Interpret Tests
Assist in Surgery
Write Prescriptions
Coordination of Care
Rounding
Qualifications
Active Connecticut License Client is firm on this.
EPIC Experience
1-year of Experience, NO new Grads at this time
ACLS
BLS
Able to Perform All Required Duties
Able to Perform All Required Procedures
Start by Middle / end of July
Must be able to cover two sites
Provider Must Be Local - Only mileage will be reimbursed at standard
