🔍 Key Responsibilities

• Provide cardiothoracic surgical support during on-call coverage ❤️‍🔥
• Assist in managing urgent and emergent cardiac cases from cath lab to OR 🔬
• Participate in pre- and post-operative patient care 🏥
• Manage ICU patients through recovery to discharge
• Collaborate closely with cardiac surgeons and multidisciplinary teams 👨‍⚕️👩‍⚕️
• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC EMR 💻

• Start Date: May 10, 2026 📅
• Ongoing assignment
• 3 weekends per month 🗓️
• Shift: Friday 5 PM – Monday 7 AM
• 24-hour call coverage throughout the weekend ⏰

🎓 Qualifications

• Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C)
• Board Certified/Eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery (or relevant surgical experience)
• Active Pennsylvania license (or willingness to obtain)
• Minimum 3 years of experience required
• DEA certification required

• Strong background in cardiothoracic or cardiac surgery
• Experience managing ICU and post-operative cardiac patients
• Comfortable handling urgent surgical cases independently
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR system
