Urgent Locum! Cardiothoracic Surgery PA Needed in NJ – Malpractice & Mileage Reimbursement (MF) !

Are you an experienced Cardiothoracic Surgery PA ready to hit the ground running? We’re urgently seeking 1-2 skilled Physician Assistants for inpatient, hospital-based coverage in Atlantic City, NJ. This is a fast-paced role with excellent compensation — plus comprehensive malpractice coverage and complimentary mileage/toll reimbursement for local providers.

• Dynamic inpatient setting covering ICU and floor patients, averaging 5–12 rounds daily

• Perform 2 cardiac surgeries per day including first assist and endoscopic vein harvesting

What You’ll Do:

• Assist in complex cardiothoracic surgeries including tissue retrieval and chest tube insertions

• Provide expert rounding, coordinate patient care, and manage consults

• Diagnose and treat illnesses, order/interpreting tests, and write prescriptions

• Perform suturing and other procedural duties with confidence

Requirements:

• NCCPA Certification and active NJ state license

• 2–3+ years cardiothoracic surgery experience including EVH and first assist proficiency

• CSR certification and BLS, ACLS, PA-C credentials

• Comfortable with varied shifts including nights and weekends
