Cardiothoracic Surgery PA Needed in South Carolina
Target Start Date: February 1, 2026
Contract Length: Through March 31, 2026
Schedule: 24-hour call coverage, approximately 5–7 days per month
Call Details: 24-hour call shifts
Practice Details:
Inpatient setting at an acute care hospital
Support staff: 1 surgeon, 2 APPs, plus floor and OR APP structure
EMR: eCW
Skills required: Endovascular Vein Harvesting
Procedures: Assist with complex cardiovascular surgeries
Requirements:
Board Certification: PA
Active South Carolina License (not willing to license)
Certification: Endovascular Vein Harvesting certification required
Credentialing Timeframe: ASAP (minimum 90 days)
DEA: Required
Additional Notes:
Coverage dates include:
January: 1/30 & 1/31
February: 2/1, 2/16, 2/27 & 2/28
March: 3/1, 3/25, 3/27–3/29, 3/31
Clinicians may be asked to float to affiliated facilities within 25 miles
Compliance modules required prior to start
