- 🚑 Level I Trauma Center experience
- 🖥️ EPIC EMR
- 👨⚕️ Daily physician rounding with 24/7 phone support
🗓️ Schedule & Coverage Details
- Coverage Need: 10 days per month (covering two weekends)
- Assignment Term: January–April
- Shift Hours: 🕗 Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- On-Call: 10 days per month
- Call Ratio: 1:3
🩺 Practice Setting
- Office hours
- Inpatient post-operative floor
- Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
📊 Average Daily Census:
- Approximately 12 patients per day
👨⚕️ Scope of Practice
- 🧵 Suture removal
- 🩺 Diagnose and manage acute conditions
- 🧪 Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- 💊 Prescribe medications
- 📝 Conduct pre-operative physical exams
- 🔄 Care coordination and patient rounding
Patient Population:
- Adult & Geriatric
🎯 Requirements
- ✔️ NCCPA Certification
- ✔️ Active Ohio PA License
- ✔️ BLS & ACLS
- ✔️ Acute care training & experience
