Job Details:
- Will report to Cardiovascular Surgeon
- Average Number of Patients Per Day: 5-10
- Cardiovascular Thoracic Surgery preferred; will consider Critical Care experience - NO new grads
- Patient Demographic: Adult and Geriatric
- EMR System: Epic
Required Duties and Procedures:
Assist in Surgery – Not required
Write Prescriptions
Write Prescriptions
Coordination of Care
Rounding
Interpret Tests
Order Tests
Retrieval of Vascular Tissues for Use as a Bypass Conduit – Not required
*Site is willing to consider Surgical NP candidates* - Yes
Qualifications
OH, State License - Preferred; willing to consider providers needing to obtain OH license only if it can be acquired quickly
ACLS
COVID Vaccination
Cardiovascular Thoracic Surgery Experience Preferred; will consider Critical Care experience - NO new grads
Working Hours
10-11 days/month Friday Afternoon – through the next full week and weekend either Sunday evening or Monday AM.
