Join a dynamic and innovative cardiothoracic surgery team in beautiful Colorado Springs, CO 🏔️! This is a full-time permanent role where you’ll play a key part in perioperative and ICU patient management, assisting in complex cardiac surgeries, and working within a collaborative, patient-first environment.
Job Responsibilities
Provide expert perioperative and ICU patient care
Participate in 2 clinic days weekly + OR coverage
Collaborate with surgeons, intensivists, and multidisciplinary teams
Perform bedside procedures and prescribe medications as appropriate
Ensure timely documentation and accurate patient care planning
Qualifications
PA-C (NCCPA certified) – Required
3+ years’ experience in cardiothoracic surgery or ICU patient management – Required
Experience with vein harvesting & first assisting – Preferred
Active Colorado PA license + DEA – Required
BLS (AHA or Red Cross) – Required
Working Hours
Call: 1:4–5 weekdays & weekends (NP covers 8:30pm–6:30am)
