Cardiothoracic Surgery PA-C, Illinois, 3 to 4 Weeks Per Month
Inpatient-only CTS assignment in Illinois with weekday blocks, full travel included, and long-term potential.
Highlights
- Work 3 to 4 weeks per month; Monday through Friday
- Long-term assignment with flexible start
- Join an established cardiothoracic team with 5 APPs
Practice Setting
- Hospital-based CTS service only; no clinic duties
- Support from CV supervisor, RN, and APP team
- EPIC charting system
Schedule
- Weekdays, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Optional night and weekend call; not guaranteed
- Credentialing takes about 90 days
Cases and Procedures
- First assist in CABG, AVR, MVR, and ECMO
- Pre- and post-op management, rounding
- EVH preferred but not required
Requirements
- Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C)
- Active Illinois license required
- ACLS certification
Travel Accommodations
- All travel reimbursed with pre-approval
- Local lodging and flights arranged if needed
