Washington Regional Medical System is hiring an experienced Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant in beautiful Northwest Arkansas for a high-profile cardiovascular and thoracic surgery group! The position is a full continuum of care role with about 60% OR time and doing EVH, conducting hospital rounds, adding orders into the hospital system as well as assisting with the outpatient clinic.

*The candidate must be proficient in Endoscopic Vein Harvesting! This is a full-time permanent position.

The primary responsibility of this role with be to first or second assist with Adult Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery. This individual must have previous EVH experience. Experience with radial artery harvest preferred, but not required. When not in the operating room, this individual will be expected to assist with patient care management on the floor and in clinic.

Schedule:
Monday through Friday
5 - 8 hour shifts per week!
Work only 1 in every 4 weekends!
Excellent Quality of life schedule!

This individual will be expected to rotate call with 3 other PA/NPs, for a total of 7-8 days per month including one weekend call every 4 weeks and rotating holidays. The individual must live in a radius where they will be able to respond to calls within 30 minutes.

Walker Heart Institute currently has 4 surgeons, and doing an average of 300 procedures per year. The Walker Heart Cardiovascular and Thoracic Team does a variety of robotic surgeries as well as endovascular, open vascular and thoracic cases. There are currently 3 PA/NPs (this is a replacement position for the 4th).
