Surgical Physician Assistant Needed – Greater Puget Sound Region
Start Date: March 2026
Contract Length: Through mid-July 2026; potential extension
Schedule
Full-time scheduled clinical hours only
Monday–Friday, 8:00a–4:30p
No weekends, no call
Approx. 50/50 split between OR and clinic
Weekly schedule varies based on OR block time
Practice Details
Surgical specialty department with focus on plastic surgery
Supporting attending surgeons in both clinic and operative settings
Patients per shift: 1–10
EMR: Epic
Support staff on site
Clinical Scope
First assist in plastic surgery cases
Pre- and postoperative evaluations
Clinic-based procedures and follow-up care
Coordination of patient management with attending surgeons
Prior plastic surgery experience preferred but not required
Requirements
Physician Assistant – Surgery
Board Certified
Active Washington license required
BLS required
Surgical experience strongly preferred
Must be responsive and organized for a fast-moving credentialing process
Credentialing
Approx. 30–90 days
Start date dependent on file completion
No name clear required
Submittal must include NPI and full license details
Location
Located in the Greater Puget Sound Region, supporting a high-volume surgical service with a balanced OR/clinic schedule and consistent weekday hours.
