The Grossman Burn Center, part of Methodist Health System in Dallas is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join its Plastic, Burn & Wound Surgery team. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside Dr. Peter H. Grossman, President of the Los Angeles Society of Plastic Surgeons and a nationally recognized leader in reconstructive and burn surgery.
The APP will provide inpatient, outpatient, and operative support within a 6-bed mixed-acuity unit, participating directly in acute care management, surgical first assist, and advanced wound and reconstructive procedures.

Mix of inpatient, outpatient, and operative responsibilities

Hands-on experience in plastic, reconstructive, and burn surgery

Mentorship and collaboration with Dr. Peter Grossman and multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities

Serve as first assist in plastic, reconstructive, and burn surgery cases

Manage pre- and post-operative care for inpatient and outpatient populations

Perform bedside procedures (central/arterial lines, wound management)

Order diagnostics, prescribe medications, and implement treatment plans
Qualifications
-
Master’s degree and current PA licensure

Texas license (or eligibility)

ACLS, ABLS, and PALS required

Experience in surgical, ICU, or burn settings strongly preferred

Strong interest in plastic and reconstructive surgery
