Renown Health and University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine (UNR Med) are recruiting an experienced NP or PA Breast Surgery.

Minimum of 2 years’ Surgery Assist experience preferred. First Assist Certification is required for NPs.

Experience working with Oncology patients is an advantage.

The APP will provide First Assistance on surgeries when needed. Position also includes post op patient consults in clinic, rounding on any admitted patients, post operative office procedures such as drain removals, CT scan reviews, and sharing call rotation for existing patients.

Renown's Providers foster the teaching of residents and medical students from The University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine. Providers also have access to an established Research Department which provides support to coordinate clinical trials or take the opportunity to conduct research on the university campus.

Position Highlights

  • Monday – Friday, 7 am to 5 pm
  • 1st Assist surgeries – NP must be 1st assist certified
  • 1:4 shared call rotation is part of this position taking calls for existing patients and potential rounding on admitted patients
