Position Overview
A Surgical Oncology/Thoracic Surgery NP or PA is needed for a full-time role supporting an outpatient thoracic surgery clinic with a strong oncology focus. The APP will manage an independent clinic with RN support while also providing shared service coverage alongside thoracic surgeons.
This role is ideal for an experienced APP confident in outpatient surgical workflows, oncology patients, and complex post-operative management.

Job Responsibilities
Provide pre‑ and post‑operative care for adult surgical oncology patients
Collaborate with thoracic surgeons for shared service coverage
Perform minor clinic procedures, including:
Drain removals
Wound care
Incision care
Document within Epic EMR
Deliver high‑quality care in a multidisciplinary environment
Qualifications
Active California license (required)
California DEA (required)
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Minimum 2 years of experience in outpatient surgical oncology or thoracic surgery
Proficiency and confidence in outpatient surgical management
Working Hours
NO part‑time availability
Monday–Friday scheduling structure may vary based on clinic needs
