We are seeking an experienced Neurosurgery/Neurology Nurse Practitioner to join a hospital employed neurosurgery department in the gorgeous Bay area and Napa Valley. You will be part of a team that leads the nation/region in the Neurosciences and Neurosurgery!

Schedule Mon-Fri Days (1-2 days inpatient, 3-4 days outpatient clinic) One paid weekend per month to assist the Neuro-Hospitalist

Position Details: All aspects of neurosurgery/neuro-critical care are required. You will provide a mix of inpatient, acute care, minimal surgery, emergency, and outpatient care. Works in partnership with neurology and neurosurgical Advanced Practice clinicians, intensivists, neurologists, neurosurgeons, hospitalists and other medical consultants to set and manage care and provide care coordination.

This position is a great opportunity to manage patients in the OR as well as pre- and post-operative care. Its is 80% clinical Initial consults, H&P’s, hospital F/U’s, with heavy emphasis on spine; 20% inpatient with hospital rounds in ICU and surgical unit, daily notes, surgical assist, discharge, consults and care coordination.
