Overview:
Join a high-acuity Neuro Trauma / Neuro Critical Care team at a busy Level II Trauma Center in Redding, CA. This locum APP role provides structured day shifts managing ICU patients with brain, spine, and neck injuries—no OR assist required. Immediate openings available with ongoing coverage needs through the year.
Key Details:

Schedule: 10-hour day shifts (7a–5p), no call

Service: Neurosurgery / Neuro Trauma ICU (brain, spine, neck)

Patient Load: 15–20 ICU patients per provider

Experience: Minimum 1 year in Neuro ICU, Neurosurgery, Neuro Trauma, or Neurology

Certifications: Current California NP/PA license, ACLS, DEA; ATLS preferred but not required

EMR: Cerner

Coverage: Blocks starting January and ongoing through Dec 31

Credentialing: 30–60 days from completed application

Role Focus: ICU management only; no surgical assist
