Job Quick Facts: Specialty: Neurosurgery (Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner First Assist) Job Type: Locum Tenens Facility Location: Tampa, FL Service Setting: Inpatient (OR assistance) Reason for Coverage: Vacancy Supplemental Coverage Period: ASAP Ongoing Coverage Type: Clinical + Call Shift Schedule: (2 weeks/month) (40 hours/week) Call Schedule: 1:4/5 night and weekend rotation Call Type: Beeper Call Ratio: 1:4/5 Patient Demographics: Adult and Pediatric Patient Volume: Varies Rounding: Inpatient rounding included Support Staff: 5 Neurosurgeons, 4 APPs Trauma Level: Level II Adult & Level II Pediatric Trauma Center EMR: Cerner No of Beds: 600 Other Info: Inpatient rounding and OR first-assist only; no outpatient responsibilities. Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered Requirements Active Florida License Board Certification (required for specialty) BLS & ACLS Certified Minimum 2 years€™ Neurosurgery experience as an APP (First Assist)
