Step into the adrenaline of neurosurgical care in beautiful Colorado Springs, CO — where the mountains meet cutting-edge trauma work. We're looking for a highly skilled Physician Assistant (PA) to support a high-volume, hospital-based Neurosurgery team during night shifts. Think fast-paced trauma, advanced procedures, and a role where your expertise truly matters.
This is not your average locum gig — you'll be first-assist preferred, responding to emergent cases in a Level I Trauma environment. With up to 20 shifts per month available, this is a rare opportunity to earn handsomely, build experience, and live somewhere that people vacation.
The Details:
🕒 Schedule: 12-hour night shifts | 6 PM – 6 AM
🏥 Setting: 100% hospital-based | Level I Trauma Center
📈 Trauma-Focused Practice:

90% Trauma | 98% Adult | 3–5 admissions/night

3 surgeries/day per attending | 10–25 hospital patients/day
🔧 First Assist Preferred
💉 Procedures: -
General & trauma neurosurgery

Aneurysm clipping, endovascular, carotid/vertebral artery

Spinal surgeries (with & without instrumentation)

Placement of ICP monitors
