Expanding neurosurgery program in the Salem, Oregon area is seeking a physician assistant to join their team!
The surgeons and current APPs are very open to training and are currently interviewing candidates with experience as well as new graduates. This is an exciting opportunity in a surgical specialty with a mix of outpatient, inpatient, and first-assist duties.
Responsibilities:
- Full-time permanent position - Neurosurgery
- Monday-Friday - Mix of first-assisting in the OR, outpatient, and inpatient responsibilities
- First-assist in the OR on spinal and cranial cases
- See patients pre-op and post-op in clinic
- Conduct hospital rounds and consults
Qualifications:
- Oregon Physician Assistant License (or ability to obtain)
- DEA License
- Previous experience in a surgical subspecialty
- Relevant clinical rotations
