Coverage type: Scheduled Clinic Hours + Call
Schedule:
Immediate need for an experienced Neurosurgery PA to work with a well-established neurosurgery practice with 4 neurosurgeons and 4 advanced practice providers serving adult patients only. This position is 50% inpatient rounding and OR, and 50% outpatient clinic.
Call is rotated among the PA's with 1-2 PA's sharing call Monday - Thursday with support from the physician who is on call. Weekend call responsibility is 1:4 with 1 PA and 1 physician and is less than 25% in person.
A 600+ bed facility hospital, with a comprehensive certified stroke center and is not a trauma center.
Requirements include:
Active Florida license
Current board certification
Minimum of 1 year of experience as an advanced practice provider in Neurosurgery.
Number Of Patients Per Shift: 10
Number of beds in Hospital: 16
Minimum Board Certification: BC
EMR System: Cerner
