Highly successful neurosurgery program in Denver, Colorado is seeking an experienced physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join their team! Ideal candidates will have previous experience in neurosurgery or another surgical specialty and also have excellent surgical first-assist skills.

Responsibilities:

• Full-time permanent position - Neurosurgery
• Monday-Friday schedule
• Approximately 50/50 split between OR and clinic
• Work one-on-one with a fellowship trained neurosurgeon
• First-assist in the OR on spinal and cranial cases
• See patients pre-op and post-op in clinic
• Occasional hospital rounding
• On-call schedule - 1 week per month

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in neurosurgery or another relevant surgical specialty
• Ability to obtain Colorado Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner License
• DEA License
• BLS/ACLS
