CompHealth is currently assisting a facility in Texas that is in need of a general surgery physician assistant to help with temporary coverage. Assignment schedule is flexible and candidate can expect 1:3 night call, and there's a support staff of six surgeons. Covering physician assistant must be DEA certified, and have current ACLS and BLS certifications. Assignment requirements include trauma bay and ICU work, rounding, and assisting in the OR with trauma and general surgery cases.
